In one of my previous posts I described how to manually update NOD32 antivirus
without an internet connection or using another computer. But for a
non-tech person it is bit difficult to follow. Many readers email me
about this.For such readers here is a tool for updating Nod32
Antivirus and ESET Smart Security (v.3.0 and v.4.0). This tool will
automatically find your %SystemDrive% and create the correct folder, put
the latest updated virus definitions and module files in it.
It will then change the update server details in the registry; (no manually setting up server) so all you have to do is click “update” in NOD32.
The program is portable and includes all latest virus signature files and modules. No need to download definitions from the server.
