BEST 3D GAMES EVER

iphone-game-console
Why would you spend $60 to $70 on a video game when you could get over twenty times the number of games for the same price on your smartphone?
It might surprise you to know that the world of smartphone gaming has come a long way since the addictive little diversions of a few Angry Birds. The fact of the matter is that some truly console-quality games are being developed for mobile devices every day costing you less than a tenth of what you might pay for a game in an actual store – some of them are even free.
Just to show you what kinds of quality handheld games are on the market, I have produced a small list. Just be warned. If you don’t get your wireless through www.CLEARWIRELESSINTERNET.com, you might want to make sure your service can handle the load. These games might be cheap, but they are also huge.

1. Fieldrunners – $2.99 – Subatomic Studios, LLC
This award-winning tower defense game puts you in command of the field of battle. Those of you unfamiliar with the tower defense genre will have no problem getting acquainted through this game.
Starting out with a small amount of money, you place turrets and towers in strategic areas to shoot and kill approaching enemies. The more enemies you kill, the more money you make to purchase different and more powerful towers.
Sounds simple enough except each wave of enemies becomes more and more difficult and complex. You are actually forced to constantly manage and re-evaluate your tower configurations lending the game a certain puzzle-like quality.

2. Walking Dead: The Game – $4.99 – Telltale, Inc.
Based on the hit comic series turned television show, Walking Dead: The Game puts you in a position few smartphone games can achieve, while still putting you in the middle of the action.
You take on the role of Lee, a former convict turned hero when a zombie outbreak sweeps across the globe. As Lee, you make tough decisions with far-reaching consequences. Few games on the iPhone – or anywhere else, really – have this kind of foresight and organization necessary to produce a game truly tailored to the actions of the player.
If you are looking for something to immerse yourself in during that long bus ride home, then this is the game you want to pick up.

3. Wind-up Knight – Free – Robot Invader
This simple platformer puts you in control of a wind-up knight dashing across the land to save the princess.
If you are thinking this sounds a little like Mario – the similarities are only skin-deep. Instead of moving the character left or right, the action is done for you. All you have to do is jump, attack, shield yourself or duck whenever there is a cliff, enemy, falling rock or crawlspace.
I should clarify since this has been a point of contention; players are encouraged to use real money to make the game progress faster. The first set of levels is free. If you are skilled enough, you can purchase and unlock all of the levels in the game using in-game currency you accumulate. What this means is that you can get the entire game for free…provided you are skilled enough. Those lacking the patience can unlock the entire game for under $10. It’s a steal either way.
And those are just a handful of the console-quality games out there for mobile devices. If you are not particularly devoted to any one gaming console, and you are looking for a diversion that doesn’t cost you double-digit dollar figures, consider the world of smartphone gaming.
